It seems to me that TV didn't start giving a damn about this until the mid/late 90's, and now of course it's practically an obsession "IT'S IN HD!!!!", I suppose before the age of videos and things such as photoshop and even the concept of 'fandom', did it matter? People would watch once and that would be that. HoE was the last show shot at BBC TV centre/shot entirely on video, so it's almost like that was the last time the BBC didn't care. That's a damn shame, all that money spent on costumes/sets to look amazing and they shoot it on video!

I'm so pleased you think the caps are pretty, it's a lot of effort to do each one but I feel it's worth it in the end, it's such a beautiful show, it deserves better!
