A Most Mysterious Murder

I recently found this on YouTube starring Stella and was struck at the HoE similarities - set in 1928/1929, Stella is very Bea with the bobbed hair back and I swear, some of the original HoE wardrobe too (the black suit looks very familiar, as does the fur coat) and her character is very Bea too.

As it's 10 years post HoE filming, it's kind of a glimpse of what Bea might look like in that hypothetical War Years revival! LOL!

A really good episode too, just in and of itself.

It's in 5 parts.

Thanks! Looks v interesting! I can't watch much online at the moment, but I saw the start, and what with Julian Fellowes narrating, and Jean Marsh turning up in the beginning, it's definitely a bit of a period drama mash-up for that sort of era!

Heh. Yes. Although didn't she turn up as a minor role at some point in S1? I kind of thought she did, but maybe I'm confused.

Anyway, I rather like Barbara Jefford (I think that's her name) as Aunt Lydia. Actually, I watched Campion finally this year, and she turned up in the first one of that as a villainous aristocrat who horsewhipped Peter Davison! 0_o What would Aunt Lydia have said??

(I have caps for that somewhere. Maybe I should share them... :-D)
