This community is tiny and has been pretty inactive lately, but I'm planning nevertheless to import it to Dreamwidth to save what there is of it - and maybe even kickstart it a little over there, who knows?

Please let me know if you have any objections, however. (I'm not deleting this comm (yet, anyway - it's tiny enough that I probably will, unless someone wants to take it over), but as some user accounts already have been deleted, posts will start disappearing if not preserved at this point.)

Hi everyone!

It started on Twitter, but this seems like a good place to talk about a possible campaign to get that Jean Marsh idea off the ground and a reality! NEW SERIES BABY!

Myself and Jade on Twitter thought a letter writing (or email equivilant) campaign to Jean's agent might be an idea, just to show how much love there is still out there and also, sort of saying Original Cast Or Nothing and other such requirements. *g*

Any ideas?

Probably seen everywhere already by the few denizens of this brave little comm, but at least here we can discuss it and flail and squee/tremble in fear/hope and dream/be outraged by the mere suggestion to our hearts' content and threads' endings. (Delete as applicable).

It seems The House of Eliott is due for a remake, or by the sounds of it, a continuation of some kind...

Personally, I'm beginning to wonder if the BBC have got in for me. They're remaking all the shows I like and I'm not sure I can deal with all the simultaneous recasting that might happen in my life, but still, for HoE, this is pretty fabulous news - if it really happens!

yuletide had 3 requests for House of Eliott fic, and sadly none of them were filled during the main challenge.

But you know what that means? That means these three requests are sitting there, waiting to be written for the 2012 New Year's Resolution challenge! (You'll need access to the AO3 to take part, but there are no other restrictions. You need to make sure you post it to the collection and gift it to the correct recipient.) One of them is mine, but I suppose I'd better include it rather than not:
